The Golnazar story began in old Tehran in the country of Iran, when Hossain Golnazar was a young boy. As a young man he tasted and smelled the aroma of many wonderful Iranian treats, He chose to be a master in ice cream making. His goal was clear; to make the best ice cream anyone had ever tasted. To make his ice cream even more flavorful he created saffron flavor ice cream for the first time in Iran. Hossian Golnazar is the original founder of Saffron Ice cream in Iran. |

Hossain Golnazar's two children, son Mehdi and daughter Mitra founded Golnazar Gourmet Ice cream, Inc in America in 2006. The tradition of bringing the best ice cream you have tasted continues now here in America!
Mehdi is the youngest son of Hossain Golnazar, he managed Golnazar factory and store in Iran for 27 years before he came to the U.S. This intensive internship instilled a great tradition and sense of customer service and professionalism, something that is a hallmark of Mehdi's business credo and what people notice about Golnazar and him personally, immediately.
